Why Do We Verify?
Identity verification helps ensure that adults on our platform are who they claim to be. This is critical for:
- COPPA Compliance, Verifying that parents are 18+ adults before managing child accounts
- Coach Trust, Verified coaches earn higher Trust Scores and appear more credible
- Community Safety, Preventing fake accounts and impersonation
How Verification Works
Photo ID Upload
Provide a government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID).
Identity Verification
Complete a quick identity check through our secure verification partner, including document scan and selfie.
Automated Review
Our system verifies your ID instantly. Most verifications complete in under 60 seconds.
Verified Badge
Once verified, you'll see a verified badge on your profile and gain access to all platform features.
Your Privacy
- ID images are encrypted and stored securely with AWS
- We never share your ID with coaches, parents, or other users
- Verification data is processed securely and not retained after completion
- You can request deletion of verification data at any time
