RateMyCoach does not receive, route, review or act on reports of abuse or child-safety concerns. Those go directly to law enforcement or an appropriate authority. Nothing sent to RateMyCoach is a report to any authority, and nothing is treated as one.

Compliance administration, not authority
Through Veriden, we help youth-sports organizations track whether their coaches’ required background screening is current. The organization screens and decides; the state determines eligibility; we track status and dates and report those to the organization. We never judge, screen, adjudicate, or supervise.
Results go to the organization and the state
The Veriden platform holds no criminal history results and no Social Security numbers. A screening status is a summary as of a point in time, based on what the organization and the state report. It is not a certification and not a guarantee about any individual.
Safer, not safe
Background screening is a required compliance measure that helps organizations meet their legal obligations. It is one part of a responsible program and does not prevent all harm. Nothing on this platform should be read as a promise about any coach’s conduct.
