Accept a parent's invitation

Invitations work both ways: a parent can invite you with the email address you gave them.

Who does it

You, the coach or trainer.

The steps

1. The parent's email to you says their name, the child's first name and last initial, and the sport.
2. New to RateMyCoach? Press "Create a coach account" in the email and sign up with that same email address. After you confirm your email, the invitation waits for you on your "Clients" page.
3. Already have a coach account? Press "Open the invitation", or find it on your "Clients" page under "Invitations from parents".
4. Press "Accept", or "Decline" if you do not coach this child. Nothing about the child is shared until you accept.
5. For a child under 13, the parent also confirms by email. Until they do, you see "The parent still has to confirm by email".

How you will know it is done

The child shows under "Linked clients". The parent can remove you at any time.
