Copyright & DMCA Policy

1. Our policy

RateMyCoach LLC respects the intellectual property of others and expects users of its services to do the same. Account holders may upload documents such as credential or training proofs and roster files. If you believe content on our services infringes a copyright you own or control, you may send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to our designated agent. We respond to valid notices by promptly removing or disabling access to the identified material and notifying the account holder who posted it. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

2. Designated agent

Only copyright notices should be sent to the designated agent. Other inquiries go to support@ratemycoach.pro.

3. What a takedown notice must contain

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notice must include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if the notice covers multiple works.
3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to locate it, such as the page URL or the document name and the account that uploaded it.
4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

4. Counter-notice

If material you posted was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), it must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or, if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which RateMyCoach LLC may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

On receiving a valid counter-notice we forward it to the original complainant. Unless they notify us within ten business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within ten to fourteen business days.

5. How we handle notices

Every notice and counter-notice is logged, reviewed by a named responsible person, and acted on promptly. We can disable access to a specific upload pending review and restore it on a valid counter-notice. This policy does not constitute legal advice.
